Ah, the great about us page, typically the most boring page of the site where people ramble on about themselves and why you should stick around to see the rest of the site.
Cool bullet points of their experience, what they offer, and why you need to subscribe or buy whatever it is they’re selling.
That’s not what this is.
Why do things the same as everyone else?
This page is about you.
I can tout my years of experience running an agency, learning the ins and outs of SEO, testing different marketing techniques and client acquisition tactics… but it really isn’t about me.
It’s about you, and what I can do to help you.
Why I Created This Blog
Quite simply, I made this blog to help other people wanting to get started in marketing, SEO, web design, sales, etc.
I also made this blog to track my own progress with the whole make money blogging thing, and affiliate marketing. My experience doesn’t come from affiliate marketing, or selling courses, or creating affiliate sites. I just think it would be cool to track for others also wanting to get started in those areas.
But that’s not it.
The largest motivating factor behind this blog is the fact that you guys keep getting screwed by a lot of the big names out there, trying to sell you their latest and greatest WSOs and courses.
People serving you up with a dish of misinformation, just to benefit themselves.
People teaching theory instead of sharing experience.
It’s time to challenge the status quo of digital marketing information.
I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t care if this blog makes money. Of course I care, and I want it to succeed so I can focus more time helping you guys. That’s not the true goal of the blog though, the true goal is to help other people.
If I can help other people get what they want, everything else will fall into place. And so far, in just the year that the blog has been up and running, it seems like a lot of people have been helped and are making moves!
You can be one of those people.
The overwhelmingly majority of information I put out is entirely free, with the exception of a couple paid guides/courses.
I don’t hold back on blog posts, I share it all.
Why IncomeBully? Bullies Are Bad!
When I chose the domain name, I liked it. I don’t believe in bullying of course, but we’re talking about income. The amount of money make.
Usually, at least in the USA with hyper-consumerism at the center of the economy, it is usually our income, that bullies us. It is our mindset that prevents us from acquiring wealth and improving our income.
The more you make the more you spend.
Mo money mo problems! Ha.
Here’s the definition of a bully:
Bully – use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.
This blog isn’t bully.com it’s incomebully.com.
We’re going to use superior strength and influence to force our income to do what we want.
That’s why it is IncomeBully.
The amount of debt people accumulate, lack of saving and investing, causes a lot of people to be bullied by their financial situation.
Many people want to get into business for themselves because they want a better financial situation. They want hope for retirement. They want to be in control of their finances, and their destiny.
You can do that.
It doesn’t happen by being passive, or weak. It happens by gaining superior strength and influence. Forcing yourself, and your habits to change based on your goals.
Is that offensive?
If you think so, maybe you should hit the X in the top right hand corner.
If you like it, then let’s take this ride together.
Let’s achieve the impossible.
Are you with me?
